First Pampered Chef show
Well, I got through my first show and lived! lol I was kinda nervous going into it, but everyone said I did just fine! And I sold $500 worth of product, so I must've done something right! That means a $100 commission for me....not bad for 2 hours of talking....my favorite thing to do! lol And it wasn't even that bad being in front of a bunch of people....it'll be a bit different when it's not people I know, but I think I'm going to be just fine! Anyway, just had a few minutes now that the kids are in bed to update my blog....it's going to get harder and harder to find the time now, with it being summer and the kids being here more often, and with my new business...that's ok, I don't mind being busy. But I think that I'm going to have a nap as well! Night night! lol

Hey Steph, I'm glad to hear that your first show went well.
Your mom told me that she's trying to get you to come here in July rather than in August. Hopefully I'm around when you come. I have a few things going on in July...oh well, I'm sure I'll get to see you eventually. Have a GREAT summer, even if it is a busy one.

I love Pampered Chef! My kitchen is very well stocked with your products. Good luck with your new job. Be careful to balance your time with family and your work. Many of the home show parties are evenings and weekends, which works out nicely for childcare between women and their husbands, but robs them of the time they are accustomed to having with their spouce. My relationship and quality time (even when we don't have quantity... he works ALOT and I do shift work as an RN) with my husband is always my priorety. He comes first. Always. And we both reap the benefits of a very joy filled marriage! That is the best advice I can give you.
