Summer visit?

I am really excited, prematurely.....the kids and I are probably going back to Alberta for a visit this summer. We haven't finalized anything, but I can't help being excited. We'll most likely be there for 2 weeks, and I can see a bunch of people I haven't seen in over 6 months....you know who you are! lol The kids will love seeing their Nana, Papa, Uncle Kent and Auntie Tasha again, and I'm sure they'll love seeing all their old friends at church as well. It's sure to be a busy couple of weeks if it does happen....I just wish that Ty was able to take the time off work to come with us! We're going to have to coordinate the dates, cause for the summer, his kids are going to be here for two weeks at a time, then at their mothers for two weeks. Plus now that I am a consultant, I'll have to make sure that I don't book any shows here for that time.....but if anyone in Alberta wants to host a show, be sure and tell me! Anyway, Kiara has hurt her head, so I must go! Bye for now

So tired

I really should be sleeping instead of blogging. I'm quite tired today, and it's my own fault of course. Last week was hectic, my own fault mostly again. I painted both my bedroom and the living room within 2 days....I know, I'm crazy. Then Josh and Celina were here all weekend, so yesterday afternoon I went crazy with laundry and cleaning up after a weekend of 4 kids. Silly me, forgetting that I had to clean house for Auntie Bev today. I was dragging my butt so much at her house, but thankfully she didn't have 5-6 loads of laundry for me like she usually does. I was going to do some extra cleaning today and clean her fridge and freezer, but I deceided to keep that for next week. I did bring home all her pictures to sort, but I have all week to do that. She has an amazing amount of pictures just sitting around, so I deceided to help her out. She does so much for Ty and the kids and I, it's the least I can do. Anyway, I think it's about time for that nap. *yawn* goodnight

New job

It took me a weekend of back and forth, wishy washy thinking, but I finally deceided to become a Pampered Chef consultant! I was a bit worried about the monthly quota, but was reassured that with about 2 shows in 2 months, I could stay active. I'm definately going to try to exceed that, hoping for around 2 shows a week, so we'll see. I can't wait until my starter kit gets here and I can begin using the products in anticipation of my first show. I have 5 booked already, so it's going to be a crazy June. This entry is going to have to be cut short, as the kids are screaming in the backyard, so I'd better go see what's happening. I'll report back later with my progress!

So much to do, so little time!

I am hosting a Pampered Chef party tonight, and I have so much to do to get ready....I have to go grocery shopping, make cookies, make dip, cook the chicken and bacon, and clean my whole house....plus I have to pick up Ty's sister Laura and when Celina's done school, her too! I'm glad that Laura will be here, cause she can watch the kids for me so I can clean. I peeled and cut up all my veggies the other day, so at least that's done, but I'm my mother's daughter when it comes to my house looking good for company. A lot of Ty's family is coming, and most of them have never been to my house before, so I want it to look as good as possible. I keep telling myself that they're coming for the party and don't really care what my house looks like, but it hasn't stopped me yet! lol Besides, I clean house for Ty's Aunt Bev, and she's been telling everyone that I fold towels like Martha Stewart and how amazing of a cleaner I am, so I have a lot to live up to! lol I'm trying not to get stressed about it, cause when that happens, I snap at the kids and Ty, and I hate when I get that way. Anyway, I should go and start cleaning!

I LOVE this weather!

It's finally deceided that it wants to be sunny here, and it's been absolutely beautiful for the last few days. The weekend is supposed to be yucky, so I'm enjoying it while I can.....was out in my bathing suit yesterday! Woo hoo! lol Other than that, I really don't have any exciting news...I am having a Pampered Chef party next week, and still trying to organize my guest list. Kiara is starting to show interest in potty training, so that's new as well, but she has yet to actually do anything. She loves to sit on it, but I think it's a novelty....we rented a silly potty movie from the library for her to watch, and so far she loves it....but when you ask after the movie if she wants to go poo on the potty like the girl in the movie, she says, no. Oh well, she'll get there eventually...after all, she is only just 2, so there's lots of time yet. Well, looks like it's time to start lunch for the boys and then get them ready for preschool. Kiara needs a nap too.....she's really been cranky the last couple weeks....women! lol
