Wednesday again?

Wow I can't believe it's been a week since my last post. In a way it seems like so much longer, but in another way, like only yesterday! So much has happened since last week, it's hard to keep track. I started painting my house on Thursday afternoon. I prepped and painted the kitchen, and was done by around 7:30pm. It's a golden yellow color, and I absolutely love it! I'll have to get some pictures taken of it and post them sometime soon. Anyway, I also received a call from my brother Kent, who was on his way from Australia home to stay with my parents in Nanton. He was in Vancouver, and was taking the ferry over to the island, and wanted to tell me he'd be in at 7:20 that night. Ty picked him up and brought him home, where he had lots of things to show the kids and presents for all of us. I finally got to see a picture of his beautiful girlfriend Tasha from Australia. He told us all about her of course, and now I can't wait to meet her! So glad he found someone special, even if she is far away. So anyway, Friday was spent with more painting (doors this time) and then picking up Josh and Celina from school. Our house was full all weekend, and Saturday afternoon we took all four kids to Jumpin Jiminy's to play. Sunday Josh and Celina went home, and Ty went snowboarding with his friend Phil, so Kent helped me with yet some more moving of doors. Monday I didn't do much at all, unless you count housecleaning and taking care of the kids...lol! Yesterday was more painting...will it never end? Austin started coughing last night, and I knew I was in for a long night! We had taken off the door to our room, so I was woken up at 4am to go to the bathroom, and then couldn't go back to sleep with his coughing. He finally stopped at 6:30, and then 15 minutes later the alarm went off....Ty had to take Kent to the ferry terminal for 7:45 am! And then of course Kiara was awake...Austin did sleep until almost 8, which is really late for him, so hopefully he'll be feeling a bit better today. All I know is, I wish today wasn't Wednesday, because Josh comes over in....about 15 minutes....and that means I don't get a nap today. I guess I'll have to go to bed early tonight...yeah like that's going to happen! I always find something to do to keep me up til at least 10....I'll just have to tell Ty not to let me stay up late. Ok, I think that's good enough for now...my brain is just not awake enough to think of anything else to say! I'll try to keep up with this more often than just once a week! Keep checking Abbey! lol
